Coimbatore to host 5 Food Industry Exhibitions at One grand venue

Chennai-based Business to Business (B2B) exhibition organizer, Synergy Exposures and Events, announced that it will be hosting five food industry-related exhibitions at a single venue in Coimbatore from July 3rd to 5th. This event aims to showcase the latest technology-driven innovations in the food and hospitality sector for culinary businesses in South India.

Sasi Kumar G., Vice President, and Brijesh Edwards, Director of Synergy Exposures, revealed the five expos at a recent press conference. The events include:

  • The 9th edition of HoReCa Expo (Hotel, Restaurant, Catering & Cafe)
  • The 15th edition of Bakers Technology Fair
  • The 3rd edition of Food & Drink Processing Expo
  • The 2nd edition of Dairy Processing Expo
  • The 3rd edition of India Food Pack Expo

These expos will take place at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore, following successful previous editions in Telangana last year.

The launch event featured T.P. Rangharaaj, popularly known as ‘Madhampatty’ Rangharaaj, Chairman of Madhampatty Group of Companies, as the Chief Guest.

The press conference highlighted that the expos will feature over 300 exhibitors from across India, including delegations from eight countries such as Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, and Gulf Countries. More than 100 exhibitors will be from Coimbatore and the rest from Tamil Nadu.

International exhibitors from Spain, Italy, Germany, the USA, and the UK will also participate, showcasing their products and launching new ones at CODISSIA. The event is expected to attract over 20,000 B2B buyers.

Brijesh Edwards noted the strong trust international buyers have in culinary equipment and products made in Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu.

The event is supported by various organizations including the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), the All India Food Processors Association (AIFPA), the National Institute of Food Technology (NIFTEM-T), the Society of Indian Bakers (SIB), the South India Hotels and Restaurants Association (SIHRA), the Food Service Consultants Association of India (FSCAI), the South India Chefs Association (SICA), and the Tamil Nadu Caterers Association.

Mano Thangaraj, Honorable Minister for Milk & Dairy Development, Tamil Nadu, will inaugurate the exhibition on July 3rd. ‘Madhampatty’ Rangharaaj mentioned that nearly 2000 business deals are expected to be made at the expos.

The event will feature knowledge sessions on food technology, manufacturing, and scaling up business on July 3rd, while July 4th will focus on hospitality and service business seminars in Hall D. Concurrently, Hall A will host product launches and live workshops.

Entry for students is permitted on July 5th from 2 pm. Children under 18 years are strictly restricted.
