Vande Bharat Express from Bengaluru to Coimbatore Cuts Travel Time by Six Hours : Check the route and timings.

This Vande Bharat Express Launched on December 31, 2023, the Vande Bharat Express will run between Coimbatore and Bengaluru, halting at five stations: Tiruppur, Erode Jn., Salem Jn., Dharmapuri, and Hosur.

New Delhi: On December 31 of last year, PM Modi introduced the Vande Bharat Express, which now runs smoothly and meets passenger demands on the Bengaluru–Coimbatore route. The public has long demanded a semi-high-speed rail, which will cut the trip time between Bengaluru and Coimbatore to around six hours. There will be stops for the train at Hosur, Dharmapuri, Erode, and Tirupur.

Remarkably, this is the second Vande Bharat Train between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and the fourth for Bengaluru. The Southern Railway zone of Indian Railways is operating the Vande Bharat Express train.

Between Coimbatore and Bengaluru, the Vande Bharat Express will stop at five stations: Tiruppur, Erode Jn., Salem Jn., Dharmapuri, and Hosur. The train runs six days a week, covering a distance of 375 kilometres in around six hours and thirty minutes.

According to the South Western Railway, the train leaves Coimbatore at five in the morning, stops in Omalur (7:40), Dharmapuri (8:30), and Hosur (10:05), and arrives at Bengaluru Cantonment around eleven thirty.

In addition to this route, Bengaluru offers Vande Bharat trains to Hyderabad, Chennai, Mysuru, Dharwad, Belagavi, and Hubballi. The Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express was been extended to Belagavi by Indian Railways.
