At Sadhguru's Ashram, VP Jagdeep Dhankhar, Shankar Mahadevan, and Gurdas Maan will grace Isha Mahashivratri in 2024.

Witnessed by more than 140 million people, Tamil Nadu’s Isha Mahashivratri in front of the famous Adiyogi face has earned the title of most anticipated yearly occasion in the nation. This year, there will be captivating dance acts, joyful music, and immersive meditations led by Sadhguru during the celebrations that last all night. The spectacular event will be aired in 22 languages globally via Sadhguru’s YouTube channels and other media networks from March 8 at 6 p.m. to March 9 at 6 a.m.

On this “great night of Shiva,” Sadhguru, who will lead a live and virtual audience through potent midnight and Brahma Muhurutam meditations, stresses the need of maintaining an upright spine.

The day’s significance lies in the fact that energy in the human body is moving upward. So that nature can greatly support us in any sadhana we undertake this evening, we wish to spend it awake, alert, and with our spines straight, adds Sadhguru.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will preside over the gathering of tens of thousands of people from various backgrounds. Renowned performers like Shankar Mahadevan, Gurdas Maan, Pawandeep Rajan, Rathijith Bhattacharjee, Mahalingam, Mooralal Marwada, rappers like Brodha V, Paradox, MC Heam, and Dharavi project, as well as French musicians Sounds of Isha and Isha Samskriti, will captivate the audience.

The PanchaBhuta Aradhana at Dhyanalinga, a potent yogic process of elemental cleansing, will be the first event of the festivities. This will be followed by the Linga Bhairavi Maha Yatra, a talk by Sadhguru, intense meditations, and the amazing Adiyogi DivyaDarshanam, a potent visual journey that portrays the history of yoga.

The Isha Mahashivratri festival has broken streaming records time and time again in recent years. The Mahashivratri live stream attracted more viewers in 2022 than the Grammys and the Super Bowl combined. With an incredible 140 million LIVE viewers in 2023, Isha Mahashivratri became the world’s biggest and most viewed spiritual celebration. With PVR INOX, an Indian cinema chain, making history by partnering with the Isha Mahashivratri to stream the 12-hour celebrations LIVE on a few big screens nationwide for the first time, 2024 is looking to be even more spectacular.
