Roadshow on Bharat Tex 2024 in Coimbatore sparks enormous response.

PNN: Bharat Tex 2024, a mega textile show, will take place in February 2024.

A Core Committee has been formed to organise the event, led by Mr. Naren Goenka, Chairman of AEPC, and co-chaired by Bhadresh Dodhia, Chairman of SRTEPC.

To promote the event, SRTEPC (The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council) organised a roadshow on November 16 at Hotel Le Meridian in Coimbatore in collaboration with other Textile EPCs such as TEXPROCIL, PDEXCIL, and HEPC.

Over 250 people attended the roadshow, including prominent Tamil Nadu government officials.

Bharat Tex 2024 will take place from February 26 to 29, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi in Delhi. The event will be organised jointly by all Textile Export Promotion Councils, with strong cooperation from the Ministry of Textiles.

R. Gandhi, Minister of Handloom and Textiles, Government of Tamil Nadu, who was the Guest of Honour at the event, stated, “The textile sector is highly developed in Tamil Nadu, and companies from the state can participate in large numbers in Bharat Tex.” The Minister further stated that the Tamil Nadu government will become a Partner State for Bharat Tex 2024.

Rajeev Saxena, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, delivered a presentation covering all aspects of Bharat Tex 2024.

He stated that Bharat Tex will be the world’s largest textile exhibition.

Bharat Tex 2024 will take up around 200,000 square metres of space, with exhibitors displaying the whole textile value chain, including fibre, yarn, fabrics, garments, made-ups, and technical textiles.

Bharat Tex is projected to draw over 3500 exhibitors, 3000 overseas buyers, 40,000 trade visitors, and over 50 knowledge sessions.
