Mathrubootham has been a driving factor behind Freshworks’ transformation from a modest company in Chennai, which he refers to as a ‘garage startup’, to a Nasdaq-listed software corporation in the United States.

Freshworks, a Nasdaq-listed SaaS company, said a month ago that its Q1 results will be released on May 2. However, the corporation had more than simply data to report to investors, stockholders, and employees.

Mathrubootham’s phone was continually vibrating as he settled into his San Mateo, California, office to chat with Money control. “My employees are sending me messages about the new developments,” he stated, visibly agitated.

“The feeling hasn’t sunk in yet; it’ll take time. But I always feel that you should play the game to your strengths,” Mathrubootham added.
